A very old ordinance regarding forbids the sale of food from a moving vehicle. I've heard various reasons why we have this rule. All are outdated and don't make sense.

One reason I heard was for the safety of children (darting out in front of a truck). The same can happen when they chase a ball in the street.

C'mon..... ice cream trucks??
