We have some limited capabilities with online processing - like to pay quarterly taxes. This is 2018. Why can't we apply for permits and applications and inspections online. Other places do it. It's not a new technology.

Similar to Open Table in making a restaurant reservation. If a contractor needs to adjust inspection schedules because work is not ready for inspection, he can just go online and adjust. Times are verified and sent right to the applicant.
