Too many ordinances are broken because there are no repercussions. No fines or penalties, so those that break the laws have no incentive to change. We recently changed the ordinance for fines on builders not putting proper fencing around the work site. Very hefty fines. I'll bet we won't see that as an issue going forward.

Some of the culprits include:
- Landscapers and contractors that start work too early
- Contractor, Realtor, garage sale signs, etc. that stay up too long
- Dumpsters that overstay their welcome
- Lawns that are not properly manicured and become an eyesore
- Sidewalks not shoveled in a timely manner and creating an unsafe area
- Cars/trucks that are parked illegally in residential area
- Garbage knocked over and not picked up and left for a period of time
- Not picking up after dogs (if caught on camera)
