Concertgoers in Las Vegas are the latest victims of Congress refusing to enact sensible gun control. We all now have been educated in what a "bump stock" is and how easy it is to obtain. Our freedom to gather and enjoy a concert, movie and even go to school is being threatened by the availability of assault weapons in our society. Banning assault weapons is a first step in reducing mass carnage by a person with malicious intent. It's a small but important step into righting what we all know is wrong. Instead of simply feeling bad let's do something constructive. What have we got to lose?
