Too often has NJ been a home to violent sexual predators. Too often have our Corrupticians done nothing about it. Too often have our children paid the price!
Human Trafficking, sex trafficking and the adult sex industries prey upon those who are most vulnerable. Whether it is a child who is at play, or a teen looking to run away from home. Often times it’s a teen who is on social media being stalked by a predator. Other times it is sexual abuse or physical abuse within the home of a teen or young adult or even child that leads them to this place.
NJ has several human trafficking hubs spread across our state. It is estimated at least one person goes missing daily and ends up in some type of trafficking. Sex trafficking is particularly brutal and most victims are never found once they're subjugated.

NJ has several human trafficking hubs spread across our state. It is estimated at least one person goes missing daily and ends up in some type of trafficking. Sex trafficking is particularly brutal and most victims are never found once they're subjugated.
PLAN: Put a vast array of resources to work to eliminate trafficking especially in the sex industry. Utilize law enforcement and create legislation to strictly break down barriers and businesses willfully negligent of these situations.
Train Law Enforcement and create a task force of Military Veterans specifically for recovery of trafficking victims. Prosecute any business owner, manager and/or staff who are involved directly or indirectly by willfully neglecting to notify law enforcement when they know a trafficking situation is taking place at their establishment. Allow victims to sue for damages as a result of negligence. Remove prosecution of victims while giving perpetrators a guaranteed sentence of at least 20 years to life.
Day one as Governor I would enact a bill that makes special punishment for human traffickers and drug traffickers. In addition I would make any manager, business owner and worker with knowledge of crimes occurring at their establishment accountable and punished under necessary and just terms, including max prison sentence, lesser sentences, fines and revocation of licenses to do business in NJ ever again! I would seek legislation allowing victims the right to sue these people and their businesses for max compensation. I would place a new state funded program created by a nonprofit into our daily education system so every school child statewide will hear and be made aware of the abuse and exploitation these predators are seeking to attain. The program would run at a fraction of a cost and hopefully serve to eliminate this despicable practice over time.
Whatever the circumstance, NO ONE should prey upon another person’s vulnerability, much less a child or victim of abuse, in an effort to profit from that predatory practice!
