It takes over half of taxpayers 8-12 weeks to pay their property taxes. Property taxes have become the number #1 priority in the state. Every past administration has promised to make New Jersey "affordable". But both Republicans and Democrats have let us down. We can no longer "afford" to wait. These are the facts:
• 37% of people in NJ are among the Working Poor and can’t afford to pay these crazy high property taxes.
• It takes over half of taxpayers 8-12 weeks to pay their property taxes.
• $28.3 Billion in NJ property taxes was collected in 2016. We are closing in on $30 Billion in 2017.
• We've also had an 83% decrease in Homestead Rebates over the last 10 years. This money used to go directly to you, the taxpayer.

• In 2015 our NJ statewide property taxes increased by $540 Million. In 2016 by $703 Million. Do we need to wait until property taxes increase by $1 Billion before we act?
We need bold action to reduce property taxes by at least 15% in the next four years. This will put $4 Billion annually back into our economy.
