Would you like to enjoy a beautiful morning in the park getting it ready for the season? Then join us and share a few hours with other civically minded folks. Organized by 1st Ward Councillor and Deputy Mayor Bill Hurlock, 1st Ward Clean-Up Day is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and beautify Yantacaw Brook Park, Upper Montclair Business District, Upper Montclair Train Station and the Bonsal Preserve.

The event will take place Saturday, April 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers may sign up to complete a variety of tasks, including weeding and planting on public grounds, spreading mulch, painting and repairing park benches, and collecting debris.
