Montclair's NJ Transit riders get off at Walnut and can enjoy a beer right at the station. Or if they get off at Upper Montclair they have a whole modern American dining experience in the station. But at Watchung the old rail station sits empty, dilapidated and dusty. It's the perfect location for a small business. And a great place for those rushing to the train to grab a coffee and talk with their neighbors...if it were converted from a eye-sore to a modern train station with a shop or two. Business should jump at the chance it presumably, would provide a revenue source to NJ Transit in the process. Let the town and Transit know - we want a modern Watchung station!
