Nishuane School sits behind Nishuane Park. There are many parents that walk their children to school. There are also many residents that like to walk their dogs in the park. However crossing the street between Llewelyn Road and Cedar Avenue has become nearly impossible. Despite the lines indicating a cross walk, drivers fail to slow down or even stop to allow pedestrians to cross the street. It's become a discussion among many of the residents who are expressing concern about the difficulties crossing the street. Please consider making Harrison Avenue a safe street to cross for the children and those just out walking trying to enjoy our community.
